Spirit Awards 2017: Indicações têm American Honey e Moonlight na liderança e Aquarius presente em filme estrangeiro

Foram anunciados os indicados ao Independent Spirit Awards 2017. Em destaque aparecem os dramas Moonlight e American Honey, ambos com seis indicações, seguidos de perto por Manchester à Beira-Mar. O Brasil está representado por Aquarius e pelo roteirista Mauricio Zacharias, reconhecido por Melhores Amigos, de Ira Sachs.

Apelidado de "Oscar dos indies", o prêmio anunciará seus vencedores em 25 de fevereiro, um dia antes do Academy Awards. Favorito ao Oscar, La La Land foi considerado inelegível.
